Miniature dachshunds make excellent pets. They are incredible dogs that are full of character and love. Adult sizes are 8-14 lbs, life expectancy is 12-16 years, minimal shedding, hair coat is easy maintenance. Coat can be short hair, long hair, wire hair, fluffy, or a mix of any of these.
